Help For Your Habitat

As Black History Month is quickly coming to a close, we can’t miss out on the opportunity to recognize a few of our fave black interior designers who are literally out there making history!  Rachael and I are aware that when we were born white, we were inherently privileged from our first breath. It's extremely important to us that we sit back and learn from these incredible women about how we can be better humans for all people of (any) color.

How is it even possible that Valentine's Day is just around the corner? We've barely hauled our Christmas decor boxes off to the garage, and already we're being bombarded with all the heart-shaped things. Ready or not, romance is in the air!

We are drawn to the things that fill our needs whether it be subconsciously or consciously. When we decorate our homes, we want them to be not only comfortable but an expression of who we are.

Autumn is upon us, and you know that can only mean one thing: Trader Joe’s aisles everywhere are stacked floor-to-ceiling with pumpkin-spice-flavored-everything. And we do mean everything. Don’t knock the honey-roasted pumpkin ravioli until you try it.

These air plant babies are so easy to care for but you need to follow a couple of simple rules. This quick video shows you how. Soak them once a week for about 30 mins and then let them dry FACE DOWN. Easy.
Here are some quick tips on how to save a vining houseplant you're about to murder or, make more of your plants to gift to others.
Plants: You know them, you love them, but you’re not quite sure how to bring them into your home in a stylish way. But, breaking news: Plants were the only home decor that the cavemen had, and thousands of years later, we should be able to do ‘em up a little better, right?
In the world of home decor and creating that perfect space, spontaneity means throwing patterns into your home and adding a dash of fun. Using patterns in your home can be as easy as a new throw pillow or as daring as adding a patterned accent wall. Whatever you may decide to do to incorporate some patterned pieces into your home, we’ve created a list of the best pattern trends coming up in 2019, and Y'all, they are CUTE. From starry to safari, there are a ton of different ways to show your personality, eye for design, and trendiness with patterns

If you’re new around here, we absolutely love plants.

Of course, you’ve probably noticed that already. We do have a lot of plants in our pictures on social media, in our product shots, etc.

We get to work with some of the best and most creative influencers out there! When we collaborate with these ladies we become better designers ourselves.
